Has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and life science industries at Vice President and CEO level with a record of achievement in strategic business development, restructuring and driving profitable growth. Jarne has served as CEO for the Biotech company Aresa A/S where he built up the organization and completed an IPO. Prior experience includes European Vice President for Whatman International, a LSE listed company, and CEO for Lundbeck Ltd. UK where he successfully launched several pharmaceutical products. Jarne holds an M.Com from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from INSEAD.

Holds a M.Sc. in molecular biochemistry. Besides working with research projects in the area of cancer and drug development, he has for 13 years worked within the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry in the area of sales and marketing. He has a broad experience in several medical indication areas as well as a profound knowledge in diagnostics especially clinical microbiology and clinical genetics.

Carlos combines experience in strategy development and general management with hands-on technology sales and marketing. Served as a Senior Management Consultant with McKinsey and Co. and participated in strategy projects in multiple countries and industries. Served as a CEO with Mark Information and conducted a comprehensive turn-around and expansion process. Founded and led Zensys, a VC-backed start-up in the wireless sector and the company behind Z-Wave, today a global de-facto standard in the wireless communications space. Carlos’ practical experience is rooted in Business Development in the ICT sector in the late 80’es and early 90’es where he built up sales in European markets for Olicom and DDE. Carlos holds a B. Sc. Hons, (Electrical Engineering) from the Engineering Academy of Denmark (DTU) and an MBA from IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland)
