Inventure Capital’s criteria for evaluating new investment opportunities are:
- Team / Management: a team that complements each other and has proven industrial experiences
- Market: a clear market demand must be identified for the products, and a focused marketing and sales strategy must be viable
- Technology: must be scalable and preferably patented
- Partnership: from both entrepreneurs and investors there must be a strong belief in, and respect for, the partnership to be formed
- Exit: a clear route to a successful exit must be identified if the company meets the described development
Inventure Capital prefers to act as lead investor, and to utilize its network to identify potential co-investors. Inventure Capital provides primary funding by subscribing to new capital in portfolio companies as a minority shareholder.
Inventure Capital always holds a seat on the board, and works actively with the portfolio companies in all major aspects, e.g. strategy, funding, recruitment, exit planning etc.
